Easter Lessons & Carols
Time & Location
About the Event
During this time of COVID it is particularly important to celebrate and to remember the reason why we call ourselves a faith COMMUNITY. What better way to do that than with a two week worship experience in December showcasing us in worship of our Lord. THis year we have the opportunity to make Advent Lessons and Carols a true parish project.
Anyone interested in reading or providing music is invited (Advent music please...not yet Christmas...there will be an opportunity for that!)
We will be looking for readers:
A reading from the book of Genesis (3:1-15)
A reading from the prophet Isaiah (40:1-11)
A reading from the prophet Jeremiah (31:31-34)
A reading from the Isaiah (35:1-10)
A reading from the prophet Baruch (4:36––5:9)
A reading from the prophet Isaiah (7:10-15)
A reading from the prophet Micah (5:2-4)
A reading from the prophet Zephaniah (3:14-18)
Music and readings may be pre-recorded. (you can use your imagination if you like...remember Easter Lessons and Carols???)
Even if you have never read before...this is an opportunity.
Always wanted to sing but couldn't make it to church to practice...this may be your time!
COVID may impact us but it will not break our spirit or our community!
Let me know how you would like to participate!
Blessings to you all this day
